Job Summary
CrewSELECT are supporting our client in their search for a Rail MechanicalFitter/Train Maintainer at their Nowergup facility.

- Base Penalties arrangement.
- DS: $62.44 Penalties
- 8 hour days with overtime on weekends and during the week.
- Located in Nowergup off the train line!
- This is a cover position for up to 6 months but if you are a gun permanent full time work could be on offer.
Job Overview/Duties:
- Performing of scheduled and unscheduled workensuring that the work is carried out in accordance with the technical maintenance manuals.
- Carry out scheduled inspection procedures and perform unscheduled repairs on passenger cars and equipment including checking the function and assessing the condition of equipment fault find mechanicalsystems.
About you:
- Proven workshop experience working as a mechanicalfiter- some exposure to mobile equipment and or rail would be advantageous.
- Understand and be available for a 1 to 2 weeks onboarding process.
- Flexible adaptable andversatile.
- Able to multi-task time manage prioritise and effectively organise tasks.
- Able to work autonomously and unsupervised with a focus on the task-at-hand to get the job done.
- A can do approach productive and proactively searches for the next activity/task.
Tickets and licenses required:
- Mechanical Fitter Trade Certificate
- Drivers License
Youll need to be able to pass a rail medical including a drug and alcohol test for this role.
