JOB GOAL:
The CTE Instructional Facilitator works under the supervision of the Director of Career and Technical Education to supportCTE teachers in implementing federal and state performance indicators to improve Reading Language Arts Math Science Technology and Career and Technical Education skills of CTE concentrators Completers and Subpopulations. Provide a stable resource of professional development progress monitoring and student data analysis to helpthe district increase the number of CTE concentrators industry certifications and instruction and achievement in literacy and math.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:
Ten and one-fourth(10.25) month contract (210 days) plus benefits package. NOTE: Precise placement within the salary range will be determined based upon education and experience. FLSA: Exempt
Funds financing the contract for this position are provided by federal Perkins V grant.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Valid Arkansas teaching certificate required in any area (7-12) CTE background preferred.
- Masters Degree in education or curriculum preferred.
- Minimum of five years of experience as a teacher with at least three of those years spent teachingin CTE content areas.
- Evidence of effective instructional strategies and techniques that lead to improved student achievement.
- Prior successful experience in planning and presenting professional development to colleagues or other educators.
- Experience with data analysis and evidence of using data to inform instructional decisions.
- Evidence of strong oral and written communication skills.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Serves as an instructional coach for CTE instructors.
- Assist teachers with classroom strategies to improve Reading Language Arts Science Technology and Career and Technical Education skills of CTE Concentrators and Subpopulations throughout the district.
- Assist teachers with classroom strategies to improve Industry Certification pass rates and participation in CTSOs for CTE Concentrators and Subpopulations throughout the district.
- Prior successful experience(s) planning and presenting professional development to colleagues or other educators.
- Prior succesful experiences(s) in disaggregating and using data to guide instructional conversations and collaborations with teachers (individual and groups).
- Works with the Supervisor to coordinate needs with local industry partners post-secondary schools local stakeholders parents and school personnel.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to sit stand walk go up and downstairs operate foot and hand controls use a telephone and write. Occasionally the employee must lift and/or move up to twenty (20) or more pounds. This position requires accurate perceiving of sound near and far vision depth perception handling and working with educational materials and/or objects and providing oral information. Must have the ability to work for the duration of the daily contracted time period and to be physically present and at assigned work with only infrequent unexcused absences during the contract year. Additional technical skills knowledge and abilities may be recommended by the immediate supervisor and approved by the Human Resources Director.
