Job Title: Occupational Therapist
Location: Cumming GA
Duration: 13 Weeks

Shift & Schedule:

• Day Shift: Monday Friday
• Hours: 08:00 AM 06:15 PM (may vary based on department needs)

Job Summary:We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join a multidisciplinary outpatient rehabilitation team. The ideal candidate will provide patient-centered care and contribute to a collaborative environment focused on improving functional outcomes across a diverse patient population.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and develop individualized treatment plans for patients
• Provide therapeutic interventions to improve functional abilities and independence
• Collaborate with physical therapists speech-language pathologists and other healthcare professionals
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
• Educate patients and families on therapy goals and home exercise programs
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care

Department Overview:

• Outpatient multidisciplinary setting
• Includes Physical Therapy Occupational Therapy and Speech Therapy
• Specialty programs include:
  • Certified Hand Therapy (CHT)
  • Wound Care
  • Lymphedema Therapy
  • Vestibular Rehabilitation
  • Aquatics Therapy
  • Sports Rehabilitation
  • Parkinsons Programs
  • Modified Barium Swallow (MBS) & FEES Studies

Requirements:

• Minimum 1518 months of recent Occupational Therapy experience
• Experience in outpatient setting preferred
• Strong clinical communication and teamwork skills

Certifications & Licensure:

• Active Occupational Therapist License (State of Georgia or eligible)
• BLS Certification (AHA required)
• Lymphedema Certification (required)
