Day Shift: Monday Friday
Hours: 08:00 AM 06:15 PM (may vary based on department needs)
Job Summary:We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join a multidisciplinary outpatient rehabilitation team. The ideal candidate will provide patient-centered care and contribute to a collaborative environment focused on improving functional outcomes across a diverse patient population.
Key Responsibilities:
Evaluate and develop individualized treatment plans for patients
Provide therapeutic interventions to improve functional abilities and independence
Collaborate with physical therapists speech-language pathologists and other healthcare professionals
Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
Educate patients and families on therapy goals and home exercise programs
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care
Department Overview:
Outpatient multidisciplinary setting
Includes Physical Therapy Occupational Therapy and Speech Therapy
Specialty programs include:
Certified Hand Therapy (CHT)
Wound Care
Lymphedema Therapy
Vestibular Rehabilitation
Aquatics Therapy
Sports Rehabilitation
Parkinsons Programs
Modified Barium Swallow (MBS) & FEES Studies
Requirements:
Minimum 1518 months of recent Occupational Therapy experience
Experience in outpatient setting preferred
Strong clinical communication and teamwork skills
Certifications & Licensure:
Active Occupational Therapist License (State of Georgia or eligible)
BLS Certification (AHA required)
Lymphedema Certification (required)
