Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Occupational Therapist Assistant to join our team at ARC Physical Therapy . As a key member of our organization you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality care to our patients ensuring their recovery and well-being.
- Perform comprehensive assessments on patients to formulate personalized treatment plans aligned with their individual needs and goals operating within the OTA scope of practice.
- Review physician referrals and thoroughly examine patients medical records to identify suitable occupational therapy interventions based on their condition abilities and treatment aims.
- Provide direct patient care using evidence-based interventions and established occupational therapy procedures promoting optimal therapeutic outcomes and patient safety.
- Accurately and comprehensively document assessment results treatment progress and provided instructions for patients and their caregivers adhering to professional standards and regulatory guidelines.
- Create written care plans and set measurable objectives based on initial evaluation findings collaborating closely with patients and the interdisciplinary care team to ensure a holistic rehabilitation approach.
- Execute personalized occupational therapy treatment programs integrating therapeutic exercises adaptive tools and environmental adjustments to improve patients independence and quality of life.
- Maintain open communication with patients caregivers and team members including physicians and insurance providers to coordinate care address inquiries and maximize treatment effectiveness.
- Ensure prompt completion of documentation including progress notes treatment summaries discharge plans and incident reports to support continuity of care and facilitate reimbursement for provided services.
Qualifications :
- Graduate degree from CAPTE-accredited Occupational Therapy assistant program. New graduates are encouraged to apply wed love for you to start your career with us!
- Current state of Kansas license and CPR certification
- Ability to work efficiently/effectively in an autonomous environment
Basic PC skills and knowledge including but not limited to Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system database software and MS Office

- Monday - Friday schedule (8:00 AM- 5:00PM)
