Operations Associate

As an Operations Associate at Ask & Embla you will support the day-to-day coordination of our inventory and logistics operations. You will assist with the processing of inbound shipments and outbound customer orders help maintain accurate inventory records and provide administrative support to the warehouse team. This is a hands-on detail-oriented role suited for someone eager to grow within a fast-paced e-commerce environment.

What Youll Do

Inbound Logistics Support

• Assist with coordinating inbound shipments including tracking and documentation.
• Support the receiving process by verifying quantities and checking items against purchase orders and packing lists.
• Help with the intake and organization of new inventory in the warehouse.
• Flag discrepancies or issues with inbound shipments to the appropriate team member for resolution.

Outbound Logistics Support

• Assist with order fulfillment activities including picking packing and labeling of customer orders.
• Support coordination with shipping carriers for order pickups.
• Help monitor shipment progress and flag potential delays to the relevant team.
• Assist in responding to customer inquiries related to shipping and delivery.

Inventory Management Support

• Assist with stocktake activities and help maintain accurate inventory records.
• Support cross-team coordination for product launches promotions and content creation packing needs.
• Help investigate and resolve basic inventory discrepancies under guidance.
• Ensure inventory data is recorded accurately and in a timely manner.

Reporting and Documentation

• Assist in generating basic reports on shipping and fulfillment activities.
• Help track operational data such as order fulfillment times mispick/mispack rates and shipping updates.
• Maintain organized records of shipping documentation trackers and related paperwork.
• Support the team in following and updating standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Administrative Support

• Provide general administrative support to the Warehouse Operations team.
• Assist in keeping warehouse processes organized and compliant with company policies and shipping regulations.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by the Warehouse Operations Lead / Manager.

Who You Are

• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in an operations logistics warehouse or supply chain role; e-commerce experience is a plus.
• Basic understanding of inbound and outbound shipping and fulfillment processes.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy especially when handling physical inventory and documentation.
• Good organizational and time-management skills; able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable working with e-commerce platforms and basic inventory or order management tools.
• A team player with clear communication skills and a willingness to support across functions as needed.
• Eager to learn proactive and reliable.
• Proficiency in Mandarin is a plus particularly for coordinating with suppliers.
