Primary Duties & Responsibilities
Execute purchasing activities for spare parts mechanical components fabrication materials electrical supplies and industrial equipment
Create process and manage Purchase Requisition (PRs) and Purchase Orders (POs) using Oracle ERP systems
Interpret technical specifications drawings and material requirements from engineering and maintenance teams
Source qualified suppliers and request quotations (RFQs) for technical items
Compare supplier quotations based on price specifications delivery timelines and quality
Track orders monitor delivery schedules and expedite urgent requirements
Maintain optimal inventory levels for critical spare parts and consumables
Coordinate with warehouse and maintenance teams to ensure material availability
Evaluate supplier performance and develop reliable vendor partnerships
Handle invoice discrepancies and coordinate with finance/accounts payable
Ensure compliance with procurement policies safety standards and quality requirements
Identify cost-saving opportunities and support continuous improvement initiatives
Education & Experience
Bachelors degree in engineering (Mechanical/Electrical/Industrial) or related field
23 years of experience as a Technical Buyer or in procurement of industrial/engineering materials
Hands-on experience with SAP (MM module preferred) and/or Oracle ERP/Procurement systems
