Technical Support, Compleat

The ideal candidate will have experience designing and developing functions with Compleat or a strong technical background with the aptitude to learn new programming languages. Qualified candidates will demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of TMC operations and be able to support the team with research problem resolution system maintenance process testing and communications. This individual must work with minimal instruction and oversight delivering high-quality outputs in a dynamic environment with overlapping deadlines and tight time constraints.

What Youll Do:

• Research and respond to support requests from internal customers (support tickets and change requests)
• Coordinate implementation and testing of new customers within the assigned products (Compleat and Mantic Point)
• Create and update existing Compleat functions as required by incoming requests
• Troubleshoot and test Compleat and Mantic Point functions
• Liaise with the vendor (Mantic Point) on any issues requiring support tickets
• Use available pre-approved AI tools to:
  - Translate existing code to understand and communicate the functionality to a non-technical audience as needed
  - Enhance development efficiency code quality and problem-solving processes

Secondary Responsibilities (Back-up):

• Liaise with other teams and departments to address issues or gaps impacting product functionality (client-specific requirements enterprise projects etc.)
• Assist Compleat development team with project management and task tracking
• Attend and/or lead relevant meetings and conference calls
• Monitor and advise team leadership of potential roadblocks issues and technical challenges
• Other job-related tasks as assigned by team leadership
  

What Were Looking For:

• 3 years of experience in the travel industry preferably in a travel agency or corporate travel management company
• 1 years of development experience with Compleat or a similar travel agency automation platform
• 2 years of hands-on experience using GDS systems specificallySabre
• Strong prioritization time management decision-making and creative problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
• Flexibility to work at least half of a scheduled shift to coincide with US business hours (Central time zone)

Preferred additional qualifications:

• Experience using AI-assisted development tools (e.g. GitHub Copilot ChatGPT Claude) to enhance code quality accelerate development cycles and improve problem-solving
• Experience with HTML and VisualBasic code
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook Word Excel Visio
• Experience using issue-tracking tools (e.g. Jira FreshService etc.)
• Experience with other GDS platforms (TravelPort Amadeus)
• Experience with APIs and system integrations
