Position Overview and Objective

As aStaff Developer youll take a leadership role in designing and building scalable secure and high-performance backend services that power our cybersecurity solutions. Youll mentor junior developers drive architectural decisions and work closely with front-end engineers security teams and DevOps to create robust and efficient systems.

Responsibilities

• Architect develop and maintainscalable high-performance backend services.

• Design and implementand make use of RESTful APIs GraphQL endpoints and micro-servicesto support backend applications and Integration systems.

• Optimise system performance security and reliability for large-scale cloud applications.

• Collaborate with other developers security teams and DevOps engineers to drive backend innovation.

• Work withdatabasesto ensure efficient data storage and retrieval.

• Implement authentication authorisation and security best practices.

• Guide and mentor junior developers fostering a culture of growth and collaboration.

• Continuously improve development processes and promote backend best practices.

• Drive integration of LLMs and autonomous agents into the existing systems to enhance accuracy and decrease component delivery time.

• Lead technical initiatives across multiple teams without direct authority influencing through expertise and collaboration.

• Interact withProduct Managersto ensure seamless delivery of components to production.

Experience & Requirements

• 9 years of experience inbackend development with exposure to full-stack development.

• Expertise in any of the programming languages such asPython(preferred) or Go

• Strong knowledge ofRESTful APIs and micro-services architecture.

• Experience withdatabases (such as PostgreSQL MYSQL).

• Proficiency inasynchronous programming multithreading and performance optimisation from a Platform stand point.

• Familiarity withmessage queues (such as Kafka RabbitMQ or SQS).

• Strong understanding ofsecurity best practices authentication and authorisation mechanisms.

• Proficiency inAWSservices such as Lambda API Gateway S3 DynamoDB and ECS.

• Good Understanding ofAI native tools (such aslang chain lang fuse) and experience in development lifecycle with AI-DLC

Nice to have skills

• Experience withcontainerisation (Docker Kubernetes/ECS)and cloud-native architectures.

• Experience working withAWS Azure or GCP .

• Familiarity withCI/CD pipelines DevOps practices and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform CloudFormation).

• Familiarity with cybersecurity products like XDR MDR SOC

• Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks like NIST MITRE

• Strong experience withGitfor version control.

• Interest in cybersecurity and security operations.
