• Guaranteed Hours: 40/week

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Radiation Therapist with CT experience for a contract role in an oncology setting. The ideal candidate will deliver high-quality radiation therapy treatments while ensuring patient safety and accuracy in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer radiation therapy treatments as prescribed by physicians
• Operate radiation therapy equipment and CT imaging systems
• Manage daily patient caseload (approximately 25 patients per day)
• Ensure accurate patient positioning and treatment delivery
• Maintain patient safety and adhere to radiation safety protocols
• Document treatments and patient information using EMR systems
• Collaborate with oncologists physicists and healthcare teams
• Perform quality checks and equipment verification as required

Facility Details:

• Setting: Oncology Center
• Charting System: EPIC (preferred)
• Equipment: Varian 21EX/iX Siemens CT
• Scrubs: Provided
• Parking: Covered by facility

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of Radiation Therapy experience
• Experience with CT imaging required
• Familiarity with ARIA system required
• Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume environment

Certifications & Licensure:

• Active California State License (required)
• ARRT Certification (required)
• ARRT (T) Radiation Therapy Certification (required)
• BLS Certification (required)
