A Brief Overview
Prepares rooms stocks supplies and linens rooms and transports patients and assists provider with treatment procedures.
What you will do
- Casts and assists with wound vac placement and removal.
- Transfers patients to wheelchairs and stretchers using mechanical lifts.
- Rooms patients.
- Answers call lights prepares patients for treatment and assists with room turnover.
- Transports patients to other areas of the hospital as directed.
- Assists with inventory supply order entering data into tracking systems and preparing educational materials.
- Assists in end of day cleaning and transporting equipment to centralized sterilization.

To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential job function satisfactorily including having visual acuity adequate to perform position duties and the ability to communicate effectively with others hear understand and distinguish speech and other sounds. Required Education License/Certification or Work Experience:
- High School or GED Equivalent or 1-3 months related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
