MAC Self Perform Technician
Job Summary
| SUMMARY |
The MAC Self Perform Technician is responsible for delivering on-demand services relating to furniture systems and furniture repairs for multiple facilities. The MAC Self Perform Technician is responsible for the execution of activities to ensure that work is performed in accordance to established processes and practices and is in compliant with all internal and external requirements including but not limited to environmental and health and safety.
| KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES |
Service Delivery
Responds to routine and on-demand service requests and performs preventative and corrective maintenance relating to furniture systems and furniture repairs:
- Furniture locks and furniture repair.
- Removal disposal and delivery of furniture.
- Assembly of furniture systems.
- Ensures work order requests are completed on time ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Ensures quality adherence is maintained.
- Ensures that activities are performed in accordance to established processes as well as internal and external requirements.
- Performs regular walkthroughs to provide observations about furniture condition and deficiencies and offers recommendations for enhancement and repair.
- Oversees sub-contractors to ensure successful completion of projects.
- Participates in facility-related projects.
- Maintains work order records within service management maintenance database.
Safety
- Follows Company procedures to ensure safe environment personal safety and safety of others.
- Maintains all assigned tools and arranges for repair and replacement where required. Submits all expenditures on a timely basis.
Communication/ Training
- Participates in training safety meetings operational meetings toolbox talks etc.
- Assists in enhancing tenant and customer satisfaction and maintaining positive relations through manner in which work is performed and services delivered.
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
- Experience in assembling/disassembling furniture systems preferred. (3 years 5 years in furniture repair assembly)
- Experience in basic furniture repairs. (ex-arm/caster/pneumatic cylinder 3 years 5 years in furniture repair assembly)
- Basic computer skills. (Basic)
- Possesses a high level of environmental health and safety mindset. Ability to perform work in a safe manner.
- Strong client-service orientation along with a high sense of urgency.
Licenses and/or Professional Accreditation
- None Required.
This is a regular full-time position with a salary range of $44303 - $52121 per annum. The starting salary will be based on the successful candidates competencies including but not limited to experience education and performance related to this role.
