Job Title: Registered Nurse Operating Room (OR)
Location: Hobbs NM
Duration: 8 Weeks

Shift & Schedule:

• Day Shift: 5x8-Hour Shifts
• Hours: 07:00 AM 03:00 PM
• On-Call: Required (12 days/week and 12 weekends/month)
• Weekends: Not regularly scheduled
• Block Scheduling: Not Available

Job Summary:We are seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) to provide high-quality perioperative care in a short-term acute care setting. The ideal candidate will be skilled in a variety of surgical procedures and committed to maintaining patient safety and clinical excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care in the operating room with a 1:1 patient ratio
• Prepare operating rooms instruments and sterile field for surgical procedures
• Assist surgeons during procedures across multiple specialties
• Monitor patient condition before during and after surgery
• Ensure adherence to sterile techniques and safety protocols
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure efficient workflow
• Maintain accurate documentation of procedures and patient care

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of Operating Room experience
• Active New Mexico RN License or Compact License (required)
• BLS Certification (AHA required)

• No floating between units
• 48-hour schedules not approved
• Opportunity for extension based on facility needs and performance
