As a Security Officer - Access Control Specialist in Royal Palm Beach FL you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer in a retail location where you will monitor assigned areas manage entry points and help to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence and routine patrols. This role offers the chance to deliver outstanding customer service support visitors and staff and work with a team that values agility reliability innovation care teamwork and integrity.

Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures access control duties and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
• Monitor entry and exit points verify credentials and/or visitor authorization and document arrivals departures and other security-related activity.
• Respond to incidents policy concerns and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner escalating issues when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and identify unusual conditions.
• Communicate with staff residents visitors and/or vendors regarding access procedures directions and site rules while supporting daily operations.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Applicants must be 21 years of age or older.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Guard card is required.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
