Job Summary
- Design plan and implement fiber optic network infrastructure (FTTH FTTx backbone and metro networks).
- Conduct site surveys feasibility studies and route planning for fiber deployment.
- Develop and review network architecture schematics and technical documentation.
- Oversee fiber installation splicing testing and commissioning activities.
- Perform OTDR testing power measurements and troubleshooting of fiber links.
- Monitor network performance and ensure optimal uptime and reliability.
- Diagnose and resolve network faults outages and degradation issues.
- Collaborate with civil works teams contractors and vendors during deployment.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards safety regulations and quality benchmarks.
- Maintain accurate records of network configurations routes and maintenance logs.
- Support network upgrades expansions and technology migrations (e.g. GPON DWDM).
- Provide technical support to operations and field teams.
Qualifications :
- Diploma in Telecommunications Engineering Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Proven experience in fiber optic network design deployment and maintenance.
- Strong attention to detail in network design and documentation.
- Ability to work in field and office environments.
- Project management and coordination capabilities.
Added Advantage
- Cisco (CCNA/CCNP) or equivalent networking certifications
