Mobile Engineer (iOS)

What youll be doing 

• Build and enhance iOS applications across Apple platforms delivering features used at scale by millions of customers 
• Collaborate with product managers designers and backend engineers to deliver seamless end-to-end customer experiences 
• Improve app performance reliability and maintainability through thoughtful engineering and continuous optimisation 
• Identify troubleshoot and resolve bugs and performance issues to ensure a high-quality user experience 
• Contribute to backend-for-frontend development to support efficient mobile integration 
• Stay current with Apple technologies and best practices bringing fresh ideas into the team 
• Participate in technical discussions and architecture decisions growing your influence over time 

What were looking for 

• At least 2 years experience in iOS development ideally in a commercial environment 
• Strong capability in Swift and SwiftUI with a focus on clean maintainable code 
• Exposure to backend-for-frontend patterns and cloud platforms such as AWS is an advantage not essential 
• Familiarity with CI/CD practices or a willingness to learn and apply them 
• Understanding of mobile design patterns and Apple UI guidelines 
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt in a fast-paced evolving environment.
