Were looking for students currently studying Geotechnical Engineering who want to learn grow and explore a career in consultancy. We have opportunities available across Aotearoa New Zealand in Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland Tauranga Te Whanganui-a-Tara Wellington and Ōtautahi Christchurch. Within our Transport team youll contribute to projects that help shape resilient transport infrastructure and connected communities. Our Internship Program is designed to build your technical capability grow your consulting confidence and provide insight into different career pathways.

Supported by your team leader a buddy and a dedicated early careers team youll take part in our Intern Learning Series and Leadership Serieshelping you develop your professional skills expand your network and understand how complex work is delivered across teams and disciplines.

• Currently studying Geotechnical Engineering or Civil Engineering with a geotechnical focus or a related discipline and ideally in your second-to-last year of study

• A current license to be able drive in New Zealand

• An interest in transport infrastructure and understanding how ground conditions influence engineering outcomes

• Available for 12 weeks full-time work from mid-November 2026 to February 2027 (with a two-week break over Christmas and New Year)

• Curiosity strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
