Job Summary:

In support of the VP of Quality Assurance this role works closely with IT and business leaders to formulate and implement comprehensive QA strategies and policies. The Principal Manager Quality Assurance provides strategic leadership and hands-on technical expertise in Automation and Performance engineering. This pivotal role is responsible for building and advancing intelligent Java/Python based automation frameworks and performance testing solutions while exploring and implementing next-generational approaches including AI-driven testing to ensure product quality and compliance with industry standards and regulations. The role combines strong leadership strategic planning technical oversight and active hands-on contribution to drive innovation in quality assurance practices across TMNAS.

Essential Job Functions:

Performs essential Quality Assurance functions as applicable to the specific position including:

  • Heads the Automation Engineering and Performance Engineering functions for the QA organization providing strategic direction technical leadership and hands-on guidance to scalable efficient and intelligent automation frameworks
  • Drives Innovation in test automation by actively exploring evaluating and implementing next generational automation approaches including AI/ML powered testing intelligent test generation self-healing scripts and advance performance engineering and security validation solutions to significantly improve quality speed and efficiency
  • Serves as a hands-on technical contributor in Python/Java based automation development. Leverages strong proficiency in Python along with Key automation packages such as Selenium playwright pytest PyAutoGUI Appium Pandas NumPy and AI/ML libraries to develop scalable automation solutions performance tests and intelligent quality automation
  • Supports day-to-day activities involving Quality Assurance Analysis. Establishes supervises and maintains QA processes including testing methodologies quality metrics and performance benchmarks. support for specific TMNAS group companies
  • Formulates and implements QA strategies and policies to ensure product quality and compliance with industry standards and regulations
  • Supervises the development and execution of test plans including manual and automated testing to identify defects and ensure product quality
  • Works closely with other departments such as Product Development Engineering Operations and Customer Service to ensure quality standards are integrated throughout the product lifecycle
  • Provides oversight for identifying evaluating and recommending potential technology-driven solution options in collaboration with IT colleagues and business teams

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree preferred (preferably in MIS IT or Business)
  • 12 years of relevant experience with a proven track record of leadership and management of teams for at least 5 years
  • 5 years of experience working in P&C Insurance preferred
  • Masters degree preferred
  • 5 years of experience working in P&C insurance
  • Strong knowledge of QA methodologies tools and best practices
  • Experience with test automation tools and frameworks
  • Certifications in QA or related fields (e.g. ISTQB CSTE) a plus
  • Extensive experience in data warehousing data engineering or a similar role with a demonstrated track record of successful leadership and project management
  • Proficiency in data modeling ETL processes and data integration technologies
  • Strong knowledge of data warehousing platforms (e.g. SQL Server Oracle Teradata Snowflake) and related tools
  • Familiarity with data governance data security and compliance standard
  • Ability to weigh business needs against security concerns and articulate to management
  • Knowledge of organizational politics and political tactics; ability to effectively navigate formal and informal communication and decision-making channels
  • Knowledge insight and understanding of business concepts and processes that are needed for making sound decisions in the context of the companys business; ability to apply this knowledge appropriately to diverse situations
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and strong knowledge in Microsoft Excel preferred
  • Ability to write business requirements and functional specifications
  • Strong writing and communication skills
  • Strong customer service orientation toward Business Units requiring financial consultation (responsive consultative collaborative and accurate)
  • Strong project management skills: Plan organize monitor and control projects ensuring efficient utilization of resources to achieve project objectives and deadlines
  • Strong interpersonal relationship building skills: able to work with a variety of people and groups in a constructive and collaborative manner
  • Strong analytical ability with the capability to determine the root cause of problems and issues and provide solutions
  • Strategic thinking; Applies organizational acumen to identify and maintain focus on key success factors for the organization

Salary range$130000 to $180000. Ultimate salary offered will be based on factors such as applicant experience and geographic location. Our company offers a competitive benefits package and bonus eligibility on top of base.
