Weekend Track Hospice RN Capital Region

The Community Hospice has an exciting opportunity for a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dedicated Hospice Care Team serving patients and families throughout the Capital Region.

Shift Details: Saturday & Sunday 8:00 AM 8:00 PM once trained. Will require some weekday training in the beginning

  • Prioritizing Your Safety:Ensuring your safety is our top priority. From comprehensive training to providing necessary protective equipment were committed to creating a secure environment for you as you deliver exceptional care in our clients homes.

What you will do:

  • Visit patients in their home or facility to respond to symptom management needs and coordinate with our team to provide end of life support to patients and families.
  • This role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact while working closely with an interdisciplinary team that includes RNs LPNs aides physicians social workers chaplains complementary therapists and volunteers.

What you will need:

  • Valid NYS RN license
  • Associates degree in nursing
  • Minimum 1 year RN experience required
  • 12 years of home care or hospice experience preferred
  • Valid drivers license and reliable vehicle.
  • Willingness to go to multiple counties as needed
  • Ability to navigate through EMR (electronic medical records) platforms
  • Good communication skills.

Enhanced Weekend Track Rate - $57.90

Experience based (non-weekend track) Pay Range:$38.00 - $50.18
Pay is based on experience skills and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
