About the Role
BDOs national Project & Infrastructure Advisory team is seeking a Senior Consultant to join our Perthbased practice working on major infrastructure projects across Australia.
This role is ideal for a professional looking to continue building their advisory career while contributing to some of the countrys most significant infrastructure and propertyrelated projects. You will support public and private sector clients through the assessment development and delivery of complex infrastructure initiatives gaining exposure across the full project lifecycle.
About the Team
BDOs Project & Infrastructure Advisory team provides strategic transactional financial and economic advice to government and private sector clients across Australia. Our services include business cases and feasibility assessments financial modelling transaction and procurement advice cost benefit analysis and financial due diligence.
As part of a collaborative and growthfocused national practice you will work alongside experienced advisors on highprofile engagements while continuing to develop your technical expertise and commercial acumen.
Key Responsibilities:
Supporting the provision of written and verbal financial advice to government clients regarding the assessment of proposed projects including procurement of major infrastructure
Developing and contributing to bespoke financial models for business cases feasibility studies and project finance advisory engagements
Assisting with the delivery of financial advisory services to consortia bidding for large infrastructure and property assets
Contributing to a broad range of Project & Infrastructure Advisory work including elements of economics procurement and transaction management
Working collaboratively with Managers and senior team members to deliver highquality client outcomes
Managing assigned workstreams and supporting the development of junior team members
About You
You are a commercially focused professional with a strong interest in infrastructure and investment outcomes and you enjoy working in a collaborative advisory environment.
You will bring:
Approximately 35 years financial and commercial experience ideally within infrastructure or propertyrelated work
Experience supporting major infrastructure projects or significant commercial transactions
General corporate finance experience including exposure to financial due diligence (highly regarded)
Strong financial modelling and quantitative analysis skills with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Excellent written and verbal communication skills including highquality report writing and client presentations
Strong commercial acumen and understanding of relevant markets
A proactive mindset and readiness to grow within a national advisory practice
