To support the organisations transformation into an outwardlooking customerled business the Director of Marketing reports to the Chief Officer of Marketing and is accountable for driving sustainable performance and longterm growth across markets. The role leads the development and execution of a strategic disciplined digital marketing approach optimising marketing investment and resources to enhance commercial outcomes and deliver a seamless customercentric digital journey grounded in a deep understanding of the voice of the parallel the Director of Marketing builds differentiated marketing communication assets that reinforce market leadership and enable the organisation to stay ahead of competitors through agile and effective marketing capabilities.Responsibilities:
Identify opportunities to enhance Prudentials awareness and visibility particularly across the digital landscape and to improve customers search and exploration experience on our website. This includes content optimisation leveraging AI to elevate onsite search improving lead quality and strengthening lead nurturing.
Lead and support Prudential marketing teams across Asia and Africa in the formulation and execution of integrated marketing strategies covering abovetheline digital social media and belowtheline communications to ensure consistency and impact across the Group.
Develop and support customercentric regional campaign including providing communication frameworks and marketing assets for both internal and external use fostering a strong customerobsessed culture through innovative customer and employee engagement initiatives.
Leverage industry insights customer data and market trends to develop effective marketing campaigns tailored to different customer segments and drive the sharing of best practices in customer communications across markets.
Lead Groupwide marketing and customer engagement events aligned with the Groups strategic priorities ensuring purposedriven initiatives enhance customer recommendation and contribute to strategic outcomes.
Standardise event sponsorship and customer engagement frameworks to ensure highimpact execution and costeffective management of sponsorship investments.
Build and manage the partnership ecosystem for valueadded services including and joint promotional initiatives including partner identification partnership model design ongoing management and evaluation of commercial performance.
Strengthen regional marketing capabilities through coaching mentoring and rolemodelling fostering a culture of creativity innovation collaboration and high performance across teams and functions.
Work closely with Distribution channels to develop and deliver customerled engagement approaches and effective channel marketing strategies.
Requirements:
Minimum 15 years of marketing experience with proven leadership experience in financial institutions or insurance company. Regional experience is an advantage.
Strong capability to apply marketing techniques across both digital and nondigital channels.
Demonstrated experience in developing effective marketing strategies and business plans including customer communications and product promotion.
Experience in designing and delivering marketing events for customers and business partners.
Demonstrated a strong track record in partnership modelling with proven capability in endtoend partnership managementfrom strategy formulation and partner selection through to execution governance and performance optimisation.
Ability to manage shifting priorities and competing demands in a fastpaced environment.
Strong customer-focused and result-orientation with the ability to deliver under tight timelines
Proven experience managing regional advertising agencies and media agencies
Good understanding of crossfunctional business disciplines including IT Finance and Operations.
Strong influencing skills with the ability to lead and collaborate with teams without direct reporting lines.
A wellrounded leader with a balance of creative thinking and analytical capability.
