Position Overview
ROAD MECHANIC POSITION / BASED OUT OF KENT OH AND SERVICING ALL LOCAL SURROUNDING AREAS . (All work will be done within 2 hours of Kent Ohio.)

Job Duties
We are currently looking for a full-time experienced Road Mechanic to keep our level of committed safety and service to our Davey Service Lines. The role includes diagnostics and repairs on trucks and equipment such as chippers aerials cranes and trailers. Responsibilities also include DOT and ANSI safety inspections. The candidate must possess the ability to interact with Managers on a professional level while discussing their service needs. The company will provide the service truck fully equipped with tools and any training needed going forward. The position may include overtime occasional overnight and emergency after-hours road calls.
Qualifications
What Were Looking For:
- Experience in truck mechanical repairs diesel engines and hydraulics
- Ability to complete the Davey Tree First Aid CPR and defensive driving course upon hire
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds
- Preferred: Valid CDL drivers license
