Development Lead, Software Engineering Java (IGT1)

Job Summary
- Lead mentor and grow a team of Java engineers (6 people of various seniority) fostering a culture of ownership technical excellence and continuous improvement.
- Support team achieving goals related to the quality of service with company strategy. Timely issue analysis and resolution
- Onboard new team members ensuring thorough ramp-up on Kyriba processes and domain-specific knowledge Manage team dynamics resolve conflicts proactively and maintain high morale and engagement
- Drive engineering excellence for a mature high-stakes production platform
- Conduct code reviews establish and enforce coding standards best practices and security protocols
- Collaborate with Product Owners and Business Analysts to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions
- Serve as the primary technical point of contact for Customer Success Professional Services and Support teams on customer implementations and escalations
- Monitor integration performance scalability and security compliance
- Contribute hands-on to critical development efforts and proof-of-concepts when needed
- Oversee team wiki documentation and ensure the knowledge base remains accurate and current
Qualifications :
- Strong proficiency with Java Ecosystem (Wildly JavaEE Spring Gradle)
- 8 years of java enterprise development
- Experience with centralized application monitoring systems. (Splunk Datadog)
- Strong understanding of enterprise integration patterns and middleware architectures
- Experience with API design and governance (REST)
- Advanced SQL and data modeling skills (Oracle PostgreSQL)
- Solid knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (jenkins) version control (Git) and DevOps practices (Helm K8S)
- Experience with Agile methodologies and technical planning
- Strong mentorship and knowledge-sharing abilities
- Effective communication skills in English both verbal and written
- Experience leading distributed or remote engineering teams
- Experience with treasury operations cash positioning and payment workflow will be an added advantage
