Sub System Technical Leader (SSTL) – Automotive Seating

As a Sub-System Technical Leader you are responsible for ensuring Quality / Cost / Delivery / Performance (QCDP) convergence within your scope and for leading the development activities of seating components.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional teams and coordinate all contributors involved in the project
• Ensure consistency between technical and project schedules
• Negotiate QCDP targets with project stakeholders
• Manage supplier consultations and contribute to supplier selection
• Ensure design and development compliance with QCDP objectives
• Drive technical convergence with internal teams and suppliers
• Provide regular reporting and manage action plans in case of deviations
• Escalate critical issues to decision-making bodies
• Contribute to lessons learned and improvement of engineering standards
• Support cost optimization initiatives during development and serial life

Qualifications :

• Education: Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent)
• Experience: 3 to 5 years in automotive seating development
• Experience in OEM or Tier-1 environment is a plus

Technical Skills

Strong knowledge of:

• Automotive engineering
• Mechanics and plastics processing
• Stamping and body-in-white processes

Proficiency with:

• CATIA
• PLM tools
• Good understanding of QCDP requirements

Languages

English: Minimum B2 level (ability to lead meetings in an international environment)
