QC Associate Scientist

Associate Scientist in QC responsibilities include:

• Review data reports and other documents for internal accuracy and consistency with protocols methods and SOPs.
• Prepares issues and tracks reports of observations noted during review. 
• Reviews and evaluates addressed deficiencies for clarity completeness and correctness.  Works with staff to correct any noted deficiencies/inconsistencies.
• Assists with development implementation and monitoring of quality control systems and procedures.
• Adheres to schedule according to Eurofins Agrosciences or contracting organizations timetable and establishes daily or weekly routines necessary to ensure on-time delivery.
• May assist in preparation of data and final reports for completed projects or studies.
• May cross-train into laboratory functions and perform experiments.
• Performs other related duties as required and directed.

Qualifications :

The ideal candidate would possess:

• Strong computer scientific and organizational skills
• Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team self-motivation adaptability and a positive attitude
• Ability to learn new techniques perform multiple tasks simultaneously keep accurate records follow instructions and comply with company policies

Basic Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in relevant field such as chemistry biochemistry biology environmental studies chemical engineering pharmaceutical sciences or other directly related field or degree with comparable coursework in the above areas.
• In rare cases comparable demonstrated competence and experience in the relevant area may be used to substitute in whole or in part for the Bachelors degree.
• Masters degree in a relevant field may be substituted for the bachelors degree and experience.
• A minimum of two years of experience in a directly relevant or demonstrated comparable competency and skill attainment is required.
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship

Additional Information :

Position is full-time Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. with overtime and some weekend shifts required as needed.  Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Columbia MO are encouraged to apply.
