Junior Procurement Category Manager - Food & Beverage Distributors (m/f/d) - VIE
Are you ready to embark on an international experience with one of the leading global hospitality groups As a Junior Category Manager for Food & Beverage Distributors within our Astore Procurement Department you will play a pivotal role in supporting Food & Beverage-related procurement strategies across the Europe & North Africa (ENA) region. Join a diverse multicultural team and help identify hotel needs find innovative solutions and contribute to responsible hospitality.
The role will be based either in our office in Lausanne with a possible contract duration of 12 or 18 months.
What are your main responsibilities
- Assist in developing strategies for your categories focused on the distributors in Food & Beverages
- Analyze customer needs and market trends to develop and optimize product and service assortments.
- Support RFP processes supplier negotiations and contract management to ensure optimal offers for the hotel network.
- Drive supplier performance and promote offerings to internal stakeholders while managing the marketplace portfolio and digital tools.
- Monitor supplier performance compliance and contract adherence and consolidate data to ensure accurate invoicing.
- Track KPIs and conduct data analysis to support decision-making across the category.
- Assess suppliers against CSR criteria including sustainability ethical practices and decarbonization commitments and help monitor and report on their progress.
- Promote responsible sourcing practices across the supplier base.
Qualifications :
Your profile:
- University degree in Business Supply Chain Procurement Economics or a related field.
- Ideally first experience or internship in procurement category management or FMCG/F&B environment
- Interest in supplier management and market analysis
- Strong analytical interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work in multicultural teams.
- Professional proficiency in English & French is a must
