• Shift: Day Shift 4x10 Hours (07:00 17:30)
• Hours: 3640 hours/week
• Call Requirement: Yes (case-by-case basis)
• Weekend Requirement: As per unit needs
• Floating: Required (Martin North South Tradition facilities)

Position Overview

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking an experienced Cath Lab Technologist to support diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures in a high-acuity catheterization lab. This role requires expertise in scrub circulator and monitoring functions while assisting physicians in complex cardiovascular and interventional procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures
• Perform scrub circulator and monitoring duties
• Prepare cath lab equipment and maintain sterile field
• Support procedures including angioplasty (PTCA/PCI) stent placement and catheterizations
• Assist with IABP placement/removal and emergency interventions
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and identify arrhythmias
• Ensure accurate procedural documentation (EPIC)
• Maintain infection control and patient safety standards
• Collaborate with cardiologists RNs and care teams
• Float across Cath Lab IR Vascular and Neuro units as needed

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 18 months Cath Lab experience (2 years preferred)
• Experience in at least 2 areas: Cath Lab IR Vascular Neuro
• Strong experience in scrub circulating and monitoring roles
• EPIC EMR experience (Required)
• Ability to work in high-acuity fast-paced environment

Certifications

• BLS (AHA or American Red Cross) Required
• ACLS Required
• RCIS or RCVT Preferred
