Schedule
- Shift: Day Shift 4x10 Hours (07:00 17:30)
- Hours: 3640 hours/week
- Call Requirement: Yes (case-by-case basis)
- Weekend Requirement: As per unit needs
- Floating: Required (Martin North South Tradition facilities)
Position Overview
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking an experienced Cath Lab Technologist to support diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures in a high-acuity catheterization lab. This role requires expertise in scrub circulator and monitoring functions while assisting physicians in complex cardiovascular and interventional procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures
- Perform scrub circulator and monitoring duties
- Prepare cath lab equipment and maintain sterile field
- Support procedures including angioplasty (PTCA/PCI) stent placement and catheterizations
- Assist with IABP placement/removal and emergency interventions
- Monitor cardiac rhythms and identify arrhythmias
- Ensure accurate procedural documentation (EPIC)
- Maintain infection control and patient safety standards
- Collaborate with cardiologists RNs and care teams
- Float across Cath Lab IR Vascular and Neuro units as needed
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 18 months Cath Lab experience (2 years preferred)
- Experience in at least 2 areas: Cath Lab IR Vascular Neuro
- Strong experience in scrub circulating and monitoring roles
- EPIC EMR experience (Required)
- Ability to work in high-acuity fast-paced environment
Certifications
- BLS (AHA or American Red Cross) Required
- ACLS Required
- RCIS or RCVT Preferred
