Job Summary
The Department of Speech-Language Pathology & Audiology at Ithaca College invites applications for part-time lecturer positions for the academic year 2026-2027. We anticipate potential openings for teaching in our online M.S. in SLP. On-campus opportunities for clinical supervision of graduate students may be available; please inquire.
Masters degree in speech-language pathology required; doctorate preferred for academic teaching positions. Candidates interested in providing clinical supervision must have the Certificate of Clinical Competence in speech-language pathology OR audiology from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and New York State licensure in speech-language pathology or audiology and 2 hours continuing education in clinical supervision. Previous post-secondary teaching experience desirable.

The Department of Speech-Language Pathology & Audiology at Ithaca College recently celebrated its 100th anniversary. The masters degree in speech-language pathology is accredited by the Council on Academic Accreditation of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. The department offers a tradition residential M.S. in SLP as well as a fully online modality masters degree option. Ithaca College is consistently ranked among the best in the Northeast and is noted for hands-on preprofessional education offering both liberal arts and professional degrees. The School of Health Sciences and Human Performance offers graduate degrees in a range of health-related fields including occupational and physical therapy physician assistant and athletic training.

All bargaining unit faculty members shall be covered by the collective bargaining agreement between Ithaca College and Services Employees International Union Local 200 United. Part-time or adjunct bargaining unit employees are all part-time faculty employed by Ithaca College at its Ithaca New York campus including but not limited to faculty in the titles of Lecturer or Adjunct.

Hiring rate: $2059.25 per credit hour.
