THE POSITION
- Simpson Barracks
- Part Time role30 hours per week Monday to Friday. Flexible with start/finish time
- No weekends or public holidays
- Specifically responsible for overseeing cleaningand accommodationservices
- Free Onsite Parking
- Working autonomously on different responsibilities
THE PERSON
The preferred applicant will be required to achieve a Defence Baseline Security Clearance and pass an Australian Federal Police check prior to confirmation of employment
- Hold fullAustralian Citizenship due to the secure nature of the site
- Hold a valid Australian drivers licence and reliable transportation to get to the base
- Knowledge and experience of Public Private Partnerships (PPP) hotel chain style operational managementor Defence Garrison Support Services would be highly advantageous
- Experience in a similar position as a cleaner or housekeeper
- Chemical handling experience is advantageous
- Strong attention to detail and take pride in your work is essential
- Be able to demonstrate excellent time management skills
- An intermediate to advanced knowledge of the Microsoft office suite is essential.
- Participate in an after-hours On Call roster
- A positive and friendly attitude
