ABOUT THIS ROLE
The PEAK6 AI Strategies team is looking for our first creative culturally tuned-in Social Media & Digital Content Coordinator to help build our digital presence. This is not a role for someone who wants to manage a content calendar and call it a day we want someone who thinks like a builder brings genuine curiosity to the work and is excited to figure things out in real time.
We are actively building new products through our PEAK6 Trials program and we need a captive audience ready when they launch. This role is central to building that audience. Reporting directly into the Head of AI Strategies you will be at the intersection of content creation organic social and community development. The right person does not necessarily come from a traditional marketing background we are just as interested in people who have created content independently come from journalism or storytelling or have run experiments in other fast-moving environments.
This role will be based in our Austin HQ and work in a hybrid 3x a week in office.
What youll do:
- Own content across our active social platforms with an eye toward what actually performs on each
- Be present and ready to capture content at PEAK6 events office moments and key company milestones filming light editing and publishing in real time
- Bring ideas to the table not just execution; we want someone who spots opportunities and moves on them
- Support efforts to deepen audience engagement beyond the feed helping develop content and calls-to-action that move interested followers toward more invested community spaces
- Help design recurring content formats event tie-ins and touchpoints that build a following over time not just one-off impressions
- Keep a pulse on platform trends emerging content formats and what is resonating in the fintech and AI space.
- Assist with pulling weekly and monthly performance data across social platforms compiling metrics like reach engagement and follower growth into easy-to-read summaries for the marketing team. Help identify patterns and flag content thats resonating.
YOUR EXPERIENCE
- 01 years in social media content or a related field internships independent projects or a personal creative practice all count
- Active informed presence across major social platforms you understand the culture of each not just the mechanics
- Clear concise writing with an instinct for platform-native copy
- Comfort with basic photo and video capture on mobile
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Collaborative and low-ego you are here to make the work better not protect your ideas
