Job Title: Rendering & DAF Supervisor-3rd Shift

Location: Omaha

Reporting to: Rendering Superintendent

Essential Job Functions:

Oversee machinery maintenance to ensure optimal operating conditions.
Drive the rendering and DAF departments to meet required production yields.
Ensure adequate staffing for daily operations arrange coverage as needed and provide hands-on support when short-staffed.
Collaborate with the lead person by providing training and support across job functions as needed.
Ensure employee compliance with JBS safety policies and proactively identify and eliminate workplace hazards.
Communicate operational issues and concerns to other shifts to ensure continuity.

Required Experience:

Minimum 1-2 years of experience in rendering
Minimum high school diploma or GED equivalent (preferred but not required)

Skills Required:

General machine operation and basic computer skills (Microsoft Office).
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Bilingual skills preferred but not required.
Must be able to work flexible hours depending on machinery operation.
Must be able to work in hot and humid conditions.
Willingness to travel at least 25% of the time.
