Job Title: CT Technologist

Job Summary:We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist for a short-term contract assignment in a fast-paced clinical environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing high-quality CT imaging procedures while ensuring patient safety equipment functionality and adherence to regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform CT imaging procedures using appropriate kV and mA techniques to ensure high-quality diagnostic images
- Conduct daily quality control and calibration checks on CT equipment prior to patient use
- Administer contrast materials or radiopharmaceuticals as per physician orders and protocols
- Maintain accurate documentation including logs reports and charge entries
- Perform quality assurance and safety checks in compliance with regulatory standards
- Follow radiation safety protocols in alignment with ALARA principles
- Manage patient imaging data and ensure availability for radiologist interpretation
- Coordinate ordering receipt and verification of radiopharmaceuticals as required
- Monitor and report any equipment issues promptly
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of CT experience
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
- Strong understanding of imaging protocols and patient safety practices
Certifications & Licensure:
- New York State License (Radiologic Technologist L.R.T) required
- ARRT Certification in Radiography and CT (required)
- BLS Certification (required)
Preferred Skills:
- Strong attention to detail and technical accuracy
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and patient care skills
