Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients visitors and staff by carrying out security-related procedures location-specific policies and/or emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents disturbances medical emergencies and other critical situations in a calm professional problem-solving manner while coordinating with staff and/or first responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings parking areas entrances and the perimeter to help identify unusual activity and/or conditions that may require attention.
• Monitor access points and sensitive areas help to deter unauthorized access and document security-related activities observations and incident details in accordance with site expectations.
• Support a professional environment by following post orders remaining prepared for rapid response and assisting with de-escalation when appropriate in a healthcare setting.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 21 years of age is required.
• Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required.
• An armed guard card or license is required.
• A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Five or more years of security-related experience are required.
• Three or more years of combined law enforcement military or security-related experience or a college degree in criminal justice.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
