Job Summary
Make a meaningful impact every day! ARC of the Treasure Coast is seeking a dependable and motivated Part-Time Line Cook to join the team at Alices Restaurant.
This position primarily supports breakfast and lunch service with occasional evening shifts as needed. The ideal candidate enjoys working in a fast-paced kitchen takes pride in food quality and is comfortable working in a mission-driven environment that supports individuals with disabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards
- Assist with breakfast and lunch service with flexibility for occasional evening shifts
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen and workstations
- Follow proper food handling sanitation and safety procedures
- Assist with food prep stocking and inventory as needed
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations
- Support a positive and inclusive environment for staff and trainees
Qualifications:
- Previous line cook or kitchen experience preferred
- Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and kitchen equipment
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and consistency
- Team-oriented with a positive attitude
Requirements:
- Food safety knowledge
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Lift up to 40 lbs. as needed
- Ability to work in a fast-paced high-temperature kitchen environment
