Job Title: Physical Therapist
Salary Range: $45-48/hr
Job Type: Full-time 40 hours per week Monday-Friday with occasional weekend shifts as needed
Location: Assisted Living Facility (ALF) Independent Living (IL) and Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) at the same location
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our team at our Assisted Living Facility Independent Living and Skilled Nursing Facility at the same location. As a Physical Therapist you will be responsible for evaluating and treating patients with physical disabilities or injuries to improve their overall mobility and quality of life.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients physical abilities and limitations
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on evaluation findings and patient goals
- Administer therapeutic exercises and interventions to improve strength balance coordination and range of motion
- Utilize modalities such as heat cold ultrasound and electrical stimulation to relieve pain and promote healing
- Educate patients and their families on proper techniques and exercises to continue at home
- Monitor and document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide coordinated care for patients
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Adhere to all legal and ethical standards in accordance with state and federal regulations
Qualifications:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- Current state license to practice as a Physical Therapist
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical setting preferably in a senior living or skilled nursing facility
- Strong knowledge and understanding of physical therapy principles and techniques
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
- Basic computer skills and proficiency in electronic medical records
Salary and Benefits:
The salary range for this position is $45000 - $48000 per year depending on experience and addition we offer a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance paid time off retirement plan and continuing education opportunities.
