Position: Physical Therapist
Location: Kennebunk Maine
Salary: $42-50 per hour
Schedule: Full-time 40 hours per week Monday-Friday no weekend rotation
Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Physical Therapist to join our team at insert location. As a Physical Therapist you will work with patients of all ages and backgrounds to help them improve their physical well-being and mobility. Your main responsibility will be to evaluate diagnose and treat patients with physical injuries or conditions using a variety of techniques and exercises.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct initial evaluations and assessments of patients to determine their current physical condition and limitations
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients based on their specific needs and goals
- Utilize a variety of techniques and exercises to help patients improve their physical strength range of motion and overall mobility
- Monitor and track patients progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Educate patients and their families on proper techniques and exercises to continue at home for ongoing improvement
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals such as doctors and occupational therapists to provide comprehensive care for patients
- Document all patient interactions and progress in medical records
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in the field of physical therapy and incorporate new techniques into practice
Qualifications:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Physical Therapy
- Valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical setting
- Strong knowledge of anatomy physiology and kinesiology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
- Basic computer skills and ability to use electronic medical records systems
