Job Summary
Job description:
Responsibilities
- Support capital projects from concept through execution including requirements gathering vendor coordination and project delivery
- Provide technical leadership in PLC programming HMI systems and automation standards
- Develop and maintain automation documentation including electrical diagrams P&IDs and control logic
- Support process data collection reporting systems and dashboards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within scope and budget
- Troubleshoot and optimize automation systems to improve reliability and performance
- Mentor team members and support continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Engineering (Electrical Mechatronics Computer Science or related field preferred)
- 710 years of experience in automation within a manufacturing environment
- Strong experience with PLC programming (Allen-Bradley preferred)
- Experience with HMI systems such as FactoryTalk View or Ignition
- Knowledge of industrial networks (Ethernet/IP) and process historians
- Experience with electrical controls design and automation systems
- Ability to read and develop electrical schematics and process diagrams
- Strong project management and problem-solving skills
