Job Summary

American Driver is looking for CDL A drivers in Tupelo MS. If you have your Class A license and want to get on the road with a company that will train you the right way this is a straightforward opportunity to do that.

Training is fully paid. You ride with a mentor learn on real freight and transition to solo when youre ready.

Training Program:

46 weeks with a dedicated mentor
Fully paid no out of pocket costs
Live freight from day one no simulators
Weekly pay throughout the program
Solo transition at $0.56 CPM after completion

A Typical Week on the Road:

No-touch dry van freight
Around 60% drop and hook
miles per week
Day and night dispatch depending on load
Minimal downtime freight runs year-round

What Youll Earn:

$0.56$0.65 CPM depending on experience
Most drivers take home $1200$1500 weekly
Extra pay for stops layovers and breakdowns
Pay increase at six months
$300 orientation pay
Weekly direct deposit

Home Time:

Home every two weeks planned in advance

Freightliner or Kenworth ()
APUs on all assigned units

Requirements:

Class A CDL age 21 or older
Minimum 120 hours of verified instruction from an accredited commercial driving school required
No major violations in the last 3 years
No DUI within the last 5 years
Must pass urine and hair follicle drug test
