Overview

TalentFish is casting a line for a Senior Accountant III. This is a contract role that is remote.

We are seeking a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to take hands-on ownership of core accounting functions including month-end close balance sheet reconciliations and financial reporting within their Workday Financials environment.

What You Bring to the Role

• Bachelors degree in Finance or Accounting with 4 years of staff accounting experience or a Masters degree with 2 years; CPA preferred

• Deep hands-on Workday Financials experience across GL AP/AR Cash Management Fixed Assets and Financial Reporting

• Direct ownership of month-end close and balance sheet reconciliations

• Strong accounting fundamentals accruals adjusting entries and reconciliations

• Workday AP or implementation experience a plus; EPIC experience a bonus

What Youll Do

• Execute and support the full month-end close process with accuracy and accountability

• Perform detailed balance sheet reconciliations and financial reporting within Workday

• Research accounting rules and regulations and recommend appropriate treatment for accounting issues

• Support the annual audit budget process and required tax filings

• Review the work of other accountants and serve as an internal consultant on projects within your area of ownership

• Communicate financial results and accounting processes clearly to leadership and maintain key external relationships

Compensation Information
The expected salary range for this position is $40-$48 per hour depending on experience and qualifications. This role also qualifies for comprehensive benefits such as health insurance 401(k) and paid time off. TalentFish is committed to pay transparency and equal opportunity.
