Registered Nurse (RN) Medical / Surgical
Location: Utica NY 13502
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: 6:30 AM 7:00 PM
Job Overview
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking an experienced Medical/Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week contract assignment in Utica NY. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills prior travel experience and the ability to work in a fast-paced acute care environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care in a Medical/Surgical unit
- Monitor assess and document patient conditions
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
- Operate and manage specialty equipment such as IV pumps NG tubes and feeding tubes
- Float to other units as required
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of recent Medical/Surgical experience
- Travel experience required
- Active New York RN License (must be in good standing)
- Current AHA BLS certification
- Experience with EPIC EMR system
- Completed skills checklist relevant to specialty
- NURSYS report verifying all active RN licenses
- Valid drivers license (address must match application details)
- Resume reflecting recent and relevant experience
- RTO (Requested Time Off) must be submitted at time of application

- Floating may be required based on facility needs
