Locum CRNA (Nurse Anesthetist) Anesthesiology

This contract position offers an excellent opportunity for healthcare professionals looking to make an impact in the Medical Practice industry specifically in Anesthesiology. The role requires on-site work allowing you to engage directly with patients and healthcare staff.

As a Locum CRNA you will play a vital role in providing high-quality anesthesia care during surgical procedures. You will collaborate with surgeons and other medical personnel to ensure patient safety and comfort before during and after anesthesia administration.

• Administer anesthesia to patients undergoing surgical procedures
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond to changes during procedures
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop anesthesia care plans
• Provide pre-anesthetic evaluations and post-anesthesia care
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in anesthesia practice
• Assist in training and mentoring junior anesthesia staff
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
• Stay updated with current anesthesia techniques and regulations

• Current certification as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
• Associate degree in Nursing or related field
• Experience in anesthesia administration and patient care
• Strong knowledge of anesthesia techniques and protocols
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced collaborative environment
• Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities
• Current BLS and ACLS certification

Schedule: 9a-5p Monday-Friday

No call unless for a critical lab result

Daily Volume: 15-20 patients

Will be working with residents and med students

4 physicians & APPs for support

Board certification required
