Job Summary
Workshop Controller- Motor Dealership Pretoria Gauteng
We have a high-impact job vacancy for a technically strong Workshop Controller within a busy motor dealership environment.
Location: Pretoria Gauteng
Salary: R35 000 - R50 000 per month incentives Benefits
This role requires a Red Seal qualified artisan with deep technical expertise who can confidently manage workshop operations while maintaining the highest quality and efficiency standards.
Min Requirements: (These are an absolute must)
- Red Seal Mechanic qualification (non-negotiable)
- Proven experience as a Workshop Controller in a motor dealership
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding ability across vehicle systems
- Previous experience as a Technician Diagnostic Technician Senior Technician or Foreman is highly advantageous and preferred
- Excellent understanding of workshop processes efficiency and productivity metrics
- BSI experience
- Ability to lead technicians and drive performance under pressure
- Valid drivers licence
Key Responsibilities:
- Control and manage full workshop operations ensuring optimal workflow and productivity

Diagnose and support technicians on complex technical issues
- Ensure accurate job allocation based on skill level and workshop capacity

Monitor WIP turnaround times and job quality

Enforce strict quality control and OEM compliance standards
- Liaise effectively with service advisors parts department and customers where required
