We are looking for fearless students who are ready to take on a challenge.

The Under Armour Rookie Program Internship is designed to give you the opportunity to learn grow and work on real business challenges. As a Rookie you will be trusted with a strategic project that challenges you to think critically collaborate crossfunctionally and create impact.

Are You The Next Rookie

• Enrolled in a Dutch college or university (Bachelors or Masters) for the full duration of the internship (September 2026 June 2027)
• Hold EU citizenship OR are a nonEU student studying in the Netherlands
• Internship is a mandatory part of your curriculum
• Humble and hungry with a strong willingness to learn

As a Channel Merchandising Rookie:

• The Channel Merchandising Rookie will support the Channel Merchandising team by contributing to consumer and channel insight development for Under Armours two most strategic wholesale partners: JD Sports and Sports Direct.
• The role focuses on building foundational understanding of the sportswear consumer within these channels including assortment structure brand storytelling and price positioning. Through data analysis and channel observations the intern will contribute insights that support merchandising decisionmaking.

Your Impact

Strategic Project Contribution

• Support a focused consumer and channel insight project centered on sportswear
• Build a clear overview of channel differences consumer profiles and merchandising approaches
• Translate observations into concise insights to support Channel Merchandising strategy discussions

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Conduct market channel and competitor analysis across JD Sports and Sports Direct (online and instore where applicable)
• Review assortment structures key franchises price ladders and product visibility within sportswear categories
• Support the team with presentation building data organization and insight summaries
• Collaborate with Channel Merchandising and crossfunctional partners as needed
• Operational Support SMU/Inline & Trasix workflow

Qualifications

• Currently studying toward a Bachelors or Masters degree in Business Fashion Management or a related field
• Genuinely passionate about sports sportswear and athletic culture
• Curious about how major retailers and global brands work together behind the scenes
• Strong analytical mindset with confidence working with numbers and data
• Solid Excel skills
• Able to turn analysis into clear structured presentations and stories (PowerPoint)
• Detailoriented organized and comfortable working independently as well as in a team

Workplace Location

• Location: Amsterdam
• Work Schedule: This role follows a hybrid work schedule requiring 4 days in-office per week.
