Your future role

Youll contribute to the development maintenance and optimization of our infrastructure ensuring high availability security and performance across our platforms. Day-to-day youll work closely with teams across the business (engineering IT and operations) enhance system reliability and develop automation processes and much more.
Youll specifically take care of managing and configuring Debian Linux and FreeBSD servers but also developing and maintaining automation scripts.
Well look to you for:
Managing configuring and optimizing Debian Linux and FreeBSD servers
Developing and maintaining automation scripts and system utilities using scripting languages such as Bash and Python
Monitoring system performance troubleshooting issues and implementing preventive measures
Supporting deployment upgrades and lifecycle management of system services
Collaborating with engineering teams to enhance infrastructure reliability and efficiency
Maintaining documentation for configurations procedures and system changes

Degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field
Proven hands-on experience administering Debian Linux distributions and FreeBSD environments
Strong scripting skills (e.g. Bash Python) for automation and process optimization
Solid understanding of networking concepts system security and performance tuning
Experience with system monitoring tools and log analysis
Familiarity with configuration management or automation tools (e.g. Ansible Jenkins) nice to have
Experience with virtualization or containerization technologies nice to have
Knowledge of version control systems (e.g. Git) nice to have
