Job Summary

JOB GOAL:

The Testing Coordinator is responsible for the planning coordination administration and reporting of standardized testing programs at the high school level. This role ensures compliance with district state and federal testing regulations and supports students and staff in the implementation of testing accommodations and schedules.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:

Ten (10) month (205 days) teaching contract plus Benefits Package. NOTE: Precise placement within the salary range on the teacher pay schedule will be determined based upon education and experience. FLSA: Exempt

QUALIFICATIONS:

Required:

  • Bachelors degree in Education Administration or a related field
  • Valid teaching certificate (if applicable per district/state requirements)
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information

Preferred:

  • Masters degree in Education School Administration or a related field
  • Experience in testing coordination or administration
  • Familiarity with testing platforms and student data systems (e.g. College Board ACT PowerSchool)

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

The following statements of duties and responsibilities are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by individuals assigned to this position.   • Coordinate and oversee all standardized assessments (e.g. SAT ACT PSAT AP Exams state-mandated tests and district benchmark tests).
  • Develop and communicate testing schedules to administration staff students and parents.
  • Ensure all testing materials are ordered secured distributed and returned according to testing protocols.
  • Train school staff on testing procedures security protocols and roles during assessments.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports related to testing including attendance accommodations and irregularities.
  • Collaborate with special education and ELL departments to ensure appropriate accommodations are provided.
  • Serve as the liaison with district/state testing offices and testing companies.
  • Ensure compliance with all testing guidelines and ethical standards.
  • Monitor testing environments to uphold security and integrity.
  • Analyze and report assessment data to support instructional decisions and school improvement efforts.
  • Support students and families in understanding testing requirements and results.

Mental Functions Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:

While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to sit stand walk go up and down stairs operate foot and hand controls and use a telephone and write. Occasionally the employee must lift and/or move up to twenty-five (25) or more pounds. This position requires accurate perceiving of sound near and far vision depth perception handling and working with educational materials and/or objects and providing oral information. Must have the ability to work for the duration of the daily contracted time period and to be physically present and at assigned work with only infrequent unexcused absences during the contract year. Additional technical skills knowledge and abilities may be recommended by immediate supervisor and approved by the Human Resources Director.
