Job Summary:We are seeking an experienced Director of Rehabilitation to lead a dynamic therapy team within a skilled nursing facility setting. This leadership role is ideal for a licensed therapist looking to advance their career while continuing to positively impact patient outcomes in both short-term rehabilitation and long-term care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the rehabilitation department
- Develop implement and monitor individualized patient treatment plans
- Supervise and mentor therapy staff (PT OT ST PTA COTA)
- Ensure compliance with clinical standards and regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes
- Maintain high standards of care documentation and service delivery
Requirements:
- Active or eligible licensure in South Dakota as a PT OT ST PTA or COTA
- Graduate of an accredited therapy program
- Minimum 2 years of experience (SNF or rehab setting preferred)
- Strong leadership communication and team collaboration skills
Work Environment:
