At Garden Spot Village our At Home Scheduler assists with day-to-day office operations including scheduling staff for Transportation and Home Care maintaining employee and client profiles and other functions as essential to the growing needs of the department.
What Youll Do
Complies withestablished policies and procedures andmaintainsestablished standards and practices including the Compliance Program/Code of Conduct.
FollowsResidents Rights policies at all times.
Presents a pleasant and cheerful attitude withstabletemperament.
Multi-tasks well in afast-pacedenvironment.
Comes to work as scheduled and consistentlydemonstratesdependability and punctuality.
Attends all in-servicestraining sessions and meetingsrelevant to the position.
Treatsall information about clients their conditionandprovidedservicesas confidential.
Receives incoming callsdeterminesthe nature of the call and transfers the call whenappropriate.
Develops creative ways to look at the homecare and transportation schedule to ensure that all clientsare receivingrequested services in the most efficient and consistent way possible.
Assistswith the assignment and scheduling of At Home staff including handling caregiver call-offs absences and vacations to ensure that clients needs are upheld.
Maintainsgood communicationwith clients and family membersregardingschedules changes of condition care plan updates and general inquiries.
Provides excellent customer serviceinhanding incoming inquiries providingdetailedoverview of services and schedules assessments with Directorand/or Coordinator.
Effectively communicates changes in schedule with caregivers clients staff members and family members as applicable.
Assistsinmaintainingaccurateclient and caregiver records includinginitialprofile creationand continuous updates.
Schedulestransportationtoincludecommunicationwith drivers clients family and other members of the interdisciplinary teamregardingthetransportdetails.
Shareson-call duty.
Demonstrates forward thinkingwith strategic planning and producing innovative ideas to grow and develop theAt Home department.
Conducts interviewswith incoming applicants request references and conducts department orientation for incoming employees.
Performs other duties and responsibilities such as caregiving as assigned.
What Were Looking For
Verbal and written communication skillsincludingtelephone answering.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Computerproficiencyrequired.
Ability to prioritize multiple duties and responsibilities.
Organizational skills and attention to detail are essential.
Caregiving capabilitiesrequired.
Additional Information
This position is part-time (20 hours per week) 8:00am-4:00pm with an on call requirement every other week.
