Part-Time Academic Instructor Rankin School of Nursing (Distance NURS 264)

Amy Hallaran Associate Dean of the Rankin School of Nursing at St. Francis Xavier University has indicated you will be teaching NURS 264 Transitioning to the Role of a Professional Registered Nurse in the Fall 2026 term. This course is delivered through StFX Online Online Learning & Professional Studies.

In this position you will have full responsibility for teaching the outlined course. Responsibilities include all duties associated with university-level teaching including but not limited to:

• Preparation and delivery of existing course content
• Evaluation of assignments tests and examinations
• Grading and timely submission of final grades
• Regular student consultation and student hours

Qualifications

• Candidates should have a PhD or Masters degree with significant experience in the course area. Relevant teaching experience at the undergraduate level is an asset.
