Our client Meyers Roman Friedberg & Lewis a respected and versatile law firm in Cleveland Ohio is seeking a Chief Financial & Operating Officer (CFO/COO) to serve as a key member of the firms leadership team overseeing the business financial and operational engine of a dynamic law firm. This role ensures the firms strategy is financially sound operationally effective and positioned for sustained growth. The CFO/COO brings clarity to complexity - turning real-time data into insight and goals into execution. As CFO/COO you will partner with the Managing Partner and Executive Committee to execute the firms documented 1- 3- and 5-year business goals through disciplined planning and operational leadership. You will own budgeting forecasting financial reporting and KPI-driven analysis across billable hours revenue collections A/R aging utilization and profitabilityusing data to spotlight growth opportunities leadership may not see. The role oversees firm infrastructure including technology cybersecurity disaster recovery facilities leases vendors and major growth initiatives such as acquisitions or office build-outs. You will also manage vendor relationships and lead a team of accounting professionals ensuring strong performance accountability and scalability.

The ideal candidate holds a bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance and brings approximately 12 years of progressive leadership experience across finance and operations. You are naturally curious analytically strong and comfortable processing large volumes of data to inform decisions and solve complex problems. You have a proven ability to grow organizations manage strong personalities and present multiple solution paths with sound judgment and flexibility. Law firm experience is a plus along with hands-on fluency in Excel (advanced reporting and pivot tables) QuickBooks CLIO and NetDocuments.
