Job Summary

The MedTech Sr. Director Data & TechnologyEnabled Solutions Strategy Lead is responsible for defining shaping and advancing MedTech data and technologyenabled solution strategy across the IQVIA Global MedTech business unit. This role serves as a senior strategic leader at the intersection of data assets technology platforms analytics and commercial solutions ensuring offerings are marketrelevant scalable and aligned to growth priorities.

This role leads MedTechfocused solution strategy across data and technologyenabled capabilities with accountability spanning opportunity identification market readiness and lifecycle evolution. The Sr. Director holds endtoend strategic ownership for MedTechspecific solutions and partners closely with RBUs to influence enterprise data assets ensuring they are fitforpurpose for MedTech use cases and commercial objectives. Operating with broad autonomy and seniorlevel influence the role drives MedTech gotomarket differentiation portfolio coherence and measurable business impact.

Key Responsibilities:

Solution & Portfolio Strategy:

  • Define and lead the MedTech strategy for data and technologyenabled solutions ensuring alignment with enterprise priorities client needs and market trends.
  • Identify whitespace opportunities and unmet client needs; translate them into differentiated solutions.
    Own solution vision roadmap and investment rationale across assigned portfolios.

Product & Offering Leadership:

  • Partner with Technology Data and Analytics teams to ensure solutions are fitforpurpose secure scalable and sustainable.
  • Influence and guide prioritization decisions across features capabilities and enhancements based on client value and commercial return.

Commercial & GotoMarket Enablement:

  • Define solution positioning value propositions and differentiation in partnership with Commercial GTM and Marketing teams.
  • Lead pricing packaging and commercial model development to ensure revenue growth and margin integrity.
  • Support complex deals RFPs and strategic client engagements as a senior subjectmatter expert.

CrossFunctional Leadership:

  • Serve as a strategic connector across Product Technology Data Analytics Sales and Delivery organizations.
  • Influence senior stakeholders without direct authority aligning teams around shared objectives and execution plans.
  • Establish governance decision frameworks and success metrics for solution performance.

Market & Performance Management:

  • Monitor solution adoption client outcomes and financial performance; drive continuous improvement based on data and feedback.
  • Track competitive landscape and emerging technologies to inform strategy evolution.
  • Ensure solutions comply with regulatory data governance and quality standards.

Scope & Impact:

  • Strategic ownership of highvalue data and technologyenabled solution portfolios.
  • Significant influence on revenue growth client satisfaction and longterm platform strategy.
  • Operates at a senior leadership level with visibility across multiple business units and geographies.

Essential Functions:

  • P&L and financial target responsibility for the MedTech Information Solutions and Tech enabled Platforms Global segment.
  • Develops and executes the short- and long-term operating plans and strategies and ensures consistency with corporate and regional objectives.
  • Generates new business by facilitating meetings/presentations and overseeing client proposals.
  • Communicates business strategy major developments and new initiatives.

Requirements / Qualifications:

  • To be eligible for this position you must reside in the same country where the job is located.
  • US Remote with Travel expected approximately 10% - 20% nationwide.
  • Bachelors degree required; advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) preferred.
  • 10-12 years of experience in data technology analytics product or solution strategy roles including leadership of complex crossfunctional initiatives and In-depth knowledge of MedTech industry required.
  • Demonstrated experience building and scaling data or technologyenabled offerings in a B2B or consultingled environment.
  • Strong understanding of the MedTech Segment including solution and product strategy leadership.
  • Deep understanding of data technology platforms and analyticsenabled solutions.
  • Commercial acumen (pricing packaging GTM deal support).
  • Executivelevel stakeholder management and influence.
  • Structured problem solving and strategic storytelling with excellent presentation skills.
  • Ability to translate clients needs into scalable repeatable offerings.
  • Strong capabilities with PowerPoint Excel CRM and Financial systems
  • Strong commercial marketing general management and financial skills required.
  • Proven ability to operate at both strategic and execution levels in highly matrixed organizations with excellent management analytical interpersonal organizational and operational skills.

The potential base pay range for this role when annualized is $169700.00 - $472700.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge skills education and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered incentive plans bonuses and/or other forms of compensation may be offered in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
