CMCs Cancer Institute is a nationally accredited world-class outpatient cancer center committed to delivering premier care to patients throughout the Central Valley and beyond. Located on the Clovis Community campus our new 100000-square-foot comprehensive cancer center brings all outpatient services together under one roof in partnership with UCSF medical staff.
Community Cancer Institute is an ACR- and Joint Commissionaccredited facility featuring two state-of-the-art digital PET/CT scanners. We offer CNMTs flexible scheduling with three 12-hour shifts per week promoting a healthy work-life balance. Our team-oriented environment emphasizes collaboration professionalism and exceptional patient care.

Our Institute will have a dedicated radiation oncology clinic equipped with 3 conventional radiation therapy machines.

As a Nuclear Medicine PET/CT Technologist at Community Cancer Instituteyou will practices at a fully independent level supporting ahighacuityimaging environment through technicalexpertise soundjudgmentand collaboration with Nuclear Medicine Physicians. This role is embedded within a multidisciplinary team committed to diagnostic accuracy patientsafetyand continuous quality improvement.
You will independently perform nuclear medicine procedures including preparing compoundingadministeringand qualitytesting radiopharmaceuticals in compliance with regulatory standards. You will ensure highquality imaging throughaccuratepatient identificationappropriate examselection properpositioningand protocol completion whilemaintaininga safe and compliant environment through adherence to aseptic technique medicationadministration standards radiation safety practices equipment maintenancerequirementsand precise documentation.
Qualifications
Education and Experience
- Graduate from an approved Nuclear Medicine Technology program or Associates Degree in related field required
- 2 years of post-program graduate experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist
*Compensation is based on experience and qualifications. While experience is preferred we welcome and encourage applications from new graduates and provide training for candidates without prior experience.*
Licenses and Certifications
- BLS - Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers by American Heart Association (AHA) required
- CTNM - State of California Certified Tech Nuclear Medicine all scopes including venipuncture required
Must have one of the following primary certification:
- NMTCB(CNMT) - Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist
- ARRT(N) - American Registry of Radiologic Technologist Nuclear Medicine Technology
